Pricing
All prices shown on website are valid for a 12-month period from April 2024. Should a customer wish to confirm a booking more than 12 months from the date of the initial booking, this may be subject to a change in pricing.
My Spicy Chef’s pricing is reviewed annually, and I reserve the right to change/update menu pricing as and when I see fit.
Workshop Confirmation
Once the customer confirms acceptance of an estimate for their workshop, this becomes a contractual agreement.
All Terms and Conditions must be read and understood by the client as this is the basis of the contractual agreement with My Spicy Chef upon confirmation of booking.
Payment
Upon confirmation of booking and a date for the workshop or course is booked, the balance will be payable. Once paid, a confirmation email will be sent to recipient, which will show full details of the booking.
Final details will be confirmed with the customer 72 hours before the workshop where possible.
Workshop Cancellation
Any cancellation should be advised in writing via email to My Spicy Chef as soon as possible.
All payments are non-refundable from 72hours prior to start time of booked workshop; this payment will be retained by My Spicy Chef. If the customer cancels an event with more than 72hours of the start of a workshop, My Spicy Chef may refund the customer 50% of the payment for up to 1 workshop. Where a course has been booked and more than 72 hours’ notice from start of workshop has been given, My Spicy Chef will refund the cost of 1 session.
If for any unforeseen reason I must cancel a workshop, where possible a week’s notice will be given by email or phone call to the customer who will be given the opportunity to reschedule. If a workshop must be cancelled less than 72hours before the start of the workshop, My Spicy Chef will offer to reschedule or refund the full amount to the customer.
Where a course is taking place, if the customer behaves in an appropriate manner which is not acceptable to me, My Spicy Chef has the right to cancel their booking, in this instance, no refund will be given to the customer.
Vouchers
Please check your voucher expiry dates as they do have a time limit of six months. Each voucher code may be used only once per household and no change will be given if the value of the transaction is lower than the voucher value. Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged. My Spicy Chef is under no liability for replacement or refund should vouchers be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.

Each workshop that is set up is carefully planned. Where possible, I will do my best to accommodate all dietary requirements. It is the customers responsibility to inform My Spicy Chef of any requirements at least 1 week before the workshop. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform My Spicy Chef about any allergies they may have upon making the booking.

Hygiene & Accidents
I adhere to strict food hygiene standards, and customers are obliged to inform me of any sickness bug/virus within 48 hours of a cookery workshop. If necessary, I will book the customer onto an alternative workshop. Please ensure you wash hands regularly before, during and after food handling. If you wish to wear gloves whilst handling food, these will be provided. Customers can bring their own apron and hair net. Hair should be tied back if it is long. A first aid box is kept at My Spicy Chef kitchen and basic first aid would be administered if necessary. An emergency contact name and number will be taken at the time of booking in case of any emergency.
